Business Risk and Control Specialist

This is a key position within the Compliance & Operational Control department, responsible for identifying and mitigating risks to financial reporting. The team's objectives include ensuring internal processes and controls are in place, facilitating effective audit engagements, and promoting awareness of finance processes and controls.
The role involves understanding relevant standards, policies, and procedures. It requires reviewing and creating test plans for controls, planning and scheduling testing activities, testing controls based on a risk-based sampling methodology, tracking progress of testing activity, maintaining supporting documentation, evaluating control design and execution effectiveness, identifying deficiencies, and recording results.
Key Responsibilities- Understanding relevant standards, policies, and procedures.
- Reviewing and creating test plans for controls.
- Planning and scheduling testing activities.
- Testing controls based on a risk-based sampling methodology.
- Tracking progress of testing activity based on the plan.
- Maintaining supporting documentation for testing performed.
