Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled WordPress/WooCommerce Plugin Developer to collaborate with our global team on implementing new features, bug fixes, and improvements to our codebase.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of WooCommerce, PHP, JavaScript, and WordPress. As a freelancer, you will enjoy flexibility in choosing your own hours up to 40 per week and work remotely from anywhere in the world.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with a small global team, implementing new features and bug fixes, writing high-quality code using PHP, JavaScript, and WordPress libraries, producing testing guides for your code, managing your time effectively to meet tasks and deadlines, and researching and debugging problems independently or collaboratively with other developers and support teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proficiency in PHP, including experience with the latest frameworks and libraries
  • Experience in WordPress plugin development
  • Strong understanding of WooCommerce development

Prior experience with the following is highly desirable:

  • JavaScript/JQuery
  • Version control systems like GitHub/GitLab/Git
  • React
