Job Description

The role of a Senior Server-Side Developer involves designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications using Node.js. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Node.js, relational databases, and NoSQL databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of backend applications and APIs.
  • Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product teams to deliver end-to-end features.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug backend issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies relevant to backend development and cloud computing.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in designing and developing server-side applications, including at least 1 year of experience with Node.js
  • Solid experience with relational and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS
  • Experience with unit testing
  • Experience using Git
  • Experience with designing APIs
  • Docker
  • Experience in SDLC processes
  • Understanding of algorithms and data structures
