Job Title: Senior Configuration Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Configuration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for verifying the accuracy of product configurations and ensuring that all documentation is up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify and ensure the accuracy of NOC and S.O configurations.
  • Develop and submit Engineering Changes through Agile systems.
  • Maintain sales order BOMs and initiate ECO change management processes.
  • Coordinate ECOs/MCOs/DEVs/ECRs internally to achieve flawless execution on tracking implementation of ECO/ECN/ECR.
  • Submit Problem Reports and Supplier Problem Sheets to customers for BOM-related issues.
  • Evaluate all affected parts and BOMs included in CR/IR/PR or corrected via Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
  • Support SRDs and implement changes with suppliers.
  • Understand downstream engineering change scope.
  • Responsible for setting up, managing, and revising customer product information (BOMs, part numbers, AVLs) for proper control over assembly revisions.
  • Streamline BOM structure setup with Product Engineers to enhance assembly sequence control, traceability data collection, and material back flush accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Product Engineers to restructure customer BOMs to meet UCT manufacturability requirements.
  • Validate and ensure all customer document packages are available, including Assembly DWGs, Fabrication DWGs, Procedures & Tests, and Manufacturing Instructions uploaded to Agile systems.
  • Work closely with internal/external customers to resolve configuration issues.
  • Generate lists of new parts/new revision parts requiring sourcing info for quote teams on pre-determined NPI projects.
  • Lead department improvement projects (e.g., RPA, QMS BKM, Global Training Videos).
  • Provide technical guidance, supervision, and support to other engineers.
  • Attend audits, including customer, internal, and third-party certification audits.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, minimum 5 years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and ADOBE Acrobat; advanced Excel knowledge and design experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of engineering documentation and document control procedures.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and mechanical BOMs.
  • Basic understanding of industrial equipment manufacturing processes.
