Job Description:
A pioneering company in the IT industry is making waves with innovative data storage solutions. The role of Financial Controller involves driving financial strategies and fostering a people-first culture in a Hybrid Setup.

The key responsibilities include:
  1. Leading and improving virtual financial close processes monthly, quarterly, and annually for accuracy and efficiency.
  2. Developing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures to ensure US GAAP compliance and educating non-finance management.
  3. Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations through effective corporate controllership policies.
  4. Reconciling balances, maintaining precise records for intercompany accounts, and tracking expenses for each legal entity.
  5. Establishing, monitoring, and enforcing robust internal controls to safeguard organizational assets.
  6. Overseeing general ledger operations, consolidations, financial reporting, and maintaining sub-ledger schedules.
  7. Managing financial transaction functions including FP&A, AR, Credit, AP, Payroll, and ensuring tax compliance.
  8. Leading and developing a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and transparent work environment.

Requirements:
To be a successful candidate, one must have extensive knowledge as a Controller in private and public companies. A CPA is required, along with a Bachelor's in accounting/finance; an MBA would be a plus. Expertise in software/hardware revenue recognition and stock equity expensing is also necessary.
