Senior Strategic Partnerships Director

The Chief Strategy Officer will be one of the key architects implementing the organization's strategy, driving business development and partnerships for collaboration and resource mobilization.
This role will exert significant influence on the organization's success, refining its approach as it goes and enabling impact by pioneering efficiency and empowerment to exceed ambitious objectives.
Roles and Responsibilities- Develop a comprehensive business development and portfolio management strategy in conjunction with teams at all levels, fully integrated with the research strategy.
- Lead a fully integrated fundraising and partnership-related resource mobilization and development strategy to achieve financial growth.
- Update and modernize partnerships to strengthen capacity to deliver impact through key relationships, partners, and stakeholders.
- Enhance and document donor funding policies and trends to ensure effective internal controls.
- Provide proactive leadership for regional directors to engage with key partners as ambassadors for the organization and its mission, develop revenue-generation strategies, identify opportunities, and progress them.
- Ensure communications and engagement strategies effectively promote the organization's research and strengthen the impact of the brand using facts and evidence.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement strategic goals and initiatives.
- Represent the organization in meetings, engaging with donors, partners, and governments to raise visibility and value.
- Facilitate the development and implementation of operational policies, protocols, and systems that improve efficiency in regions through close working with colleagues.
- Advanced degree in Business Administration or related field, with minimum 15 years' experience in managing business development functions, preferably in an international setting.
