Global Development Content Creator

We're seeking a skilled content creator to drive impactful live journalism events, podcasts, and digital content around critical global convenings.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with senior editors to shape our coverage of key moments in global development.
  • Conduct research to develop ideas for interviews or panels and identify innovators and thought leaders.
  • Help bring issues to life onstage by recommending speakers who can effectively communicate complex challenges.
  • Manage speaker correspondence and provide strategic support to senior editors and executives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution from concept to delivery.
About the Role

This is a remote position that requires strong editorial judgment, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.

You will work closely with our special coverage team to create engaging content that resonates with our audience.

A minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in journalism, editorial content creation, or event management is required.

Required Skills
  • Strong editorial judgment and writing/editing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and manage up/down/sideways as needed.
  • Familiarity with content management systems and tools.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
Work Environment

A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in journalism, communications, or a related field is ideal.
