Logistics Coordinator Job

The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing delivery operations across distribution centers (DCs) by ensuring efficient outbound route planning. This includes determining DC support for new or transitioning stores, managing drop sequences, and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery (OTIF) and call time compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Route Planning and Optimization: Oversees the creation, updating, and uploading of master route plans in SAP software.
  • Traffic and Road Development Management: Assesses routes for traffic and road developments and adjusts plans as needed to accommodate events.
  • Cold and Dry Deliveries: Manages route planning for cold and dry deliveries, including maintaining and updating store sequences.
  • Transportation SOPs and System Enhancements: Updates transportation standard operating procedures (SOPs), coordinates with load planners across sites, and enables SAP functionality by handling system change requests and leading related projects.
  • Automation and Standardization: Drives system enhancements, implements automation tools, and standardizes SAP-based reports.
  • Network Planning and Load Optimization: Spearheads key initiatives in network planning and load optimization.
  • Trucker Performance Management: Manages trucker performance, expansion, and re-fleeting programs.
  • Cost-Saving Initiatives: Develops and implements cost-saving trucker projects and business expansion programs.
Requirements:
  • Educational Background: Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Management or Industrial Engineering courses.
  • Relevant Experience: Must have at least two years of relevant experience in transportation management, both inbound and outbound route planning.
  • Third-Party Trucking Experience: Must have experience managing third-party trucking providers.
  • Supply Chain Logistics Operations: Must have experience in end-to-end supply chain logistics operations.
  • Collaborative Skills: Must be result-oriented and highly collaborative.
  • Field Work: Must be willing to work on field work.
