We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tax Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Australian tax accounting and be able to provide exceptional leadership and mentorship to junior accountants.

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing financial statements, preparing business activity statements, and maintaining general ledgers. They will also be required to prepare private tax returns, trust partnership tax returns, and end of year compliance jobs.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Tax Accountant will be expected to research and correct process errors that caused incorrect tax filings and negotiate with tax authorities over tax payment issues. They will also be required to mentor and review work for junior accountants and lead future TOA Accountants coming onboard.

To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to have a graduate degree in Accountancy or Accounting Technology, with a total of more than 4 years of accounting and tax experience, including 4+ years of experience in AU tax accounting. They will also need to possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and good time management skills.
