Senior Tax Professional Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Professional to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and excellent communication abilities.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining tax compliance and planning activities for assigned clients.
  • Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing income tax returns, payments, necessary paperwork, and reports for corporations, individuals, partnerships, nonprofits, estates, and trusts.
  • Additionally, the role involves assessing and researching difficult tax issues to identify solutions and recommend strategies to improve profits.
  • The successful candidate will also review junior staff work for accuracy and coach them on performance.
  • Evaluation of tax regulations and suggestion of policies that diminish tax burden are also key components of this role.
  • Maintaining awareness of industry trends and changes related to taxes is crucial in this position.
Responsibilities
  • Ensuring compliance with tax regulations by forwarding required information to authorities is essential.
  • Providing support and guidance during audits is also a critical aspect of this role.
  • Preparing accurate quarterly and annual tax reports is a key responsibility.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
  • Senior level experience with US tax is essential.
  • Excellent background in Individual or Corporate Income Tax for various US States is necessary.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills are must-haves.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Knowledge of accounting systems like Lacerte, Ultratax, CCH, OneSource, Karbon, QuickBooks Online is highly desirable.
