Quality Assurance Specialist

This is a challenging and rewarding role for a Quality Assurance specialist to excel in delivering manual and automation test tools, methodologies, and scripts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test scripts for both automated and manual testing.
  • Develop scalable and reliable automated tests and frameworks to ensure seamless product quality.
  • Collaborate with the team to implement repeatable automated tests during sprints, reducing test execution time, and incorporating automated tests into CI/CD processes.
  • Demonstrate proactive approach in planning resources and labour needs for each sprint and product releases.
  • Work closely with the squad team to drive product excellence and meet assigned testing deliverables timelines within the sprint and product release.
  • Prepare and communicate insightful test reports for stakeholders including the principal engineer, product owner, scrum master, and release management.
  • Maintain open communication with business users, business analysts, and engineers to resolve assigned defects efficiently.
  • Stay abreast of external trends and advancements in testing to contribute to process improvements and asset development.
  • Promote productivity through efficient use of test automation tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Coach and train other team members on manual and automated testing techniques.
  • Embody adaptability and actively participate in squad events to continually improve ways of working.
