Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert accounting services, including financial statement preparation, tax returns, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including account and bank reconciliations, invoicing, billings, payments, and bank uploads.
  • Prepare and submit tax returns, including corporation tax returns and VAT returns.
  • Oversee entire client ledgers, proactively managing and resolving any discrepancies that may arise.
  • Provide comprehensive accounting services across all facets of the client's business.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree in accountancy or any accounting related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience is required for this position.
  • Experience in UK accounting practice is preferred/ideal.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., CCH, Xero, or QuickBooks).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Schedule and Work Arrangement

This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM MNL. The ideal candidate will be amenable to working onsite and/or remotely as required.
