**About the Role**
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Team Lead to join our team at Insight. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for supervising the Accounts Payable team and ensuring accurate payments are made to vendors within agreed contract terms.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Supervise and motivate the team to promote teammate satisfaction through mentoring, development, and career planning.
- Ensure incoming vendor invoices match Insight's purchase orders and arrange payments to vendors in line with agreed terms.
- Oversee all ledgers and ensure vendors are paid on time.
- Lead the smooth operation of payment runs, conduct adequate checks to ensure that payments are made to the correct vendors, and approve all payments raised by the Accounts Payable Analyst.
**Requirements:**
- Demonstrates relevant accounts payable knowledge and can demonstrate experience of working with control account reconciliations.
- Proven team leader experience – driving passion, motivation, and energy throughout the team.
- Ability to interpret and analyze business and technical reports in addition to writing and presenting information to senior stakeholders.
