Fire Sprinkler Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Design Engineer to join our remote team.

This role involves designing and estimating fire protection systems for commercial and residential projects in New York City.

The ideal candidate will have experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and MEP software, as well as strong knowledge of New York City Building Codes and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop system layouts from architectural and mechanical plans.
  • Prepare fire sprinkler system designs using industry-standard tools.
  • Estimate project costs and prepare take-offs using Planswift and Excel.
  • Ensure designs meet all relevant codes and standards.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Planswift, Excel, and Fire Elite.
  • Strong understanding of MEP design principles.
  • Familiarity with New York City Building Codes.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team.
