Customer Service Specialist

Job Overview:
The Customer Service Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate receipt and processing of customer orders for a portfolio of accounts. This position requires strong communication and problem-solving skills to resolve internal and external customer queries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactive order management, anticipating and resolving issues related to customer orders
- Liaise with customers to coordinate delivery dates based on stock availability and prioritize destinations during reception windows
- Day-to-day liaison between Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) and local countries (Sales, Logistics & Finance Departments)
- Escalation of stock allocation and customer service issues to Team Leaders
- Management of customer inquiry resolution through development and implementation of action plans to eliminate source problems
- Identification and implementation of process improvements and efficiency measures
- Conduct trade visits with sales representatives if required and visits local countries as representative of SSC as necessary
- Collaboration with E-commerce departments to solve systems issues
- Development and maintenance of customer service performance reporting systems to assist local countries in efficient management of their businesses
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- Previous customer services experience
- Fluent English speaker and Mandarin language proficiency
- SAP experience is desirable
- Flexibility to address critical business needs
- Background working in multicultural environments is advantageous
