Job Title: Senior Auditor

We are seeking an experienced Senior Auditor to join our team. As a Senior Auditor, you will be responsible for leading external audits of not-for-profit organizations and trust accounts under relevant Australian legislation.

About the Role:

  • Plan, conduct and report on audits of not-for-profit organizations and trust accounts.
  • Deliver audit opinions, management letters and recommendations aligned with Australian Auditing Standards.
  • Advise on internal controls, risk management and technical accounting issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth audit processes.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in external audits, including not-for-profit and trust accounts.
  • Proficiency in audit software (e.g., CaseWare), advanced Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Auditing Standards, AASB frameworks and not-for-profit compliance.
  • Experience testing controls over payroll, procurement, revenue recognition and grant acquittals.
  • Excellent English communication skills for reports, client liaison and presentations.
  • Reliable internet, suitable hardware and quiet workspace.
