About This Opportunity

As a skilled Software Engineer, you will have the chance to collaborate with a diverse range of clients, leveraging technologies like React and Gatsby while working with content from a Drupal instance using pipelines and environments such as Pantheon, AWS, and GCP.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing and implementing front-end solutions using React and Gatsby or another React framework (e.g. Next.js)
  • Writing high-quality, maintainable code for a client with minimal technical oversight
  • Managing facets of the project as applicable like Quality, Performance, and Security
  • Being a contributing part of a project team by assuming responsibility for the architecture and development of complex components
  • Collaborating directly with client stakeholders to gather requirements
  • Communicating with team members and clients about task status, availability, and questions about technology
Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional experience within the software industry
  • 3+ years of experience as a front-end developer with React
  • 2+ years of experience with Gatsby, Next, or a similar React framework
  • Familiarity with automated unit testing
  • Experience working in a distributed, agile environment planning and executing on a project using Agile methodologies
  • Confident with use of Git for version control
  • Experience with AWS or GCP, loosely in a DevOps capacity is a plus
  • Experience developing continuous integration, continuous delivery and continuous deployment pipelines
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional experience with Drupal 8+, PHP, and Composer, Pantheon/Acquia, relational databases and working in a full-stack capacity is a big plus
