Lead Cloud Security Architect

Unlock a challenging career path as a senior cloud security engineer. We seek an expert to spearhead the implementation and optimization of advanced cloud security solutions across complex client environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement and optimize cloud security solutions in Azure, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers, collaborating with architects and stakeholders to design secure cloud architectures.
  • Implement security controls across Azure services, including Azure Policy, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Purview, and DLP/AIP, to safeguard data and applications.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure secure deployment of Azure resources, adhering to best practices and standards.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents using Log Analytics and SIEM tools, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud security engineering, with a focus on Microsoft Azure, and proficiency in designing and implementing secure cloud architectures.
  • Familiarity with Azure security tools and services, including Azure AD, Azure Policy, Azure Sentinel, Microsoft Defender suite, and Azure Firewall.
  • Experience with third-party IAM and security tools, such as Okta, OneLogin, Splunk, and familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks, risk assessment, and incident remediation techniques, including HIPAA/HITRUST, FedRAMP, NIST, PCI DSS, CJIS, and other industry standards.
  • AZ-500: Azure Security Engineer Associate certification is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates, to automate cloud resource provisioning.
  • Exposure to multi-cloud environments, with expertise in designing and implementing hybrid cloud architectures.
