Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. This role will involve managing day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Australian accounting practices, particularly in payroll and operational roles, and possess solid analytical skills to support their account manager and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and process financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and reconciliations
  • Perform financial analysis and provide insights to support business decisions
  • Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and optimize financial operations
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data and ensure accuracy of financial records
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards and regulations
  • Proficiency in accounting software, including Xero and Employment Hero Payroll
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
