Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to manage and service our large-scale data center infrastructure and facilities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of ensuring 24x7 operations in rotating shifts, with a strong focus on proactive coordination and escalation related to site operational issues and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and ensure smooth 24x7 running of the operations in the data center.
  • Act as Level 2 escalation point by overseeing and resolving all onsite operational incidents and major issues, responding & performing remote requests within SLA.
  • Understand the M&E, security, network and plumbing systems of the building, critical facilities equipment and other equipment associated with the DC environment.
  • Document and update accurately all requests on the internal web portal ticketing system such as user requests, incidents, provisioning, etc.
  • Implement best-in-class DC operations based on ITIL and industry practices.
  • Deliver ITIL compliance process conformance for incident, problem and change management.
  • Evaluate and ensure effective implementations of safety, security and customer support policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and provide support to contractors and vendors as well as inspecting ongoing and completed works.
  • Plan and support all preventive and reactive maintenance activities with little to no disruption to our services.
  • Participate and support internal and external audits for internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Generate accurate and regular reports as required.

Requirements:

  • Possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Hold a degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, engineering, business administration).
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of data center operations and management principles.
  • Have experience working with ITIL framework and industry best practices.
  • Showcase ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proven track record of success in similar roles.
