Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to lead our construction projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will oversee multiple projects simultaneously, managing resources, timelines, and budgets to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required performance and quality standards.
  • Plan, design, and manage multiple project typologies, including infrastructure development and building construction.
  • Establish, implement, and monitor project resources, including setups, standards, and skill assessment.
  • Facilitate the assignment of project team members, ensuring efficient allocation of common resources and skills.
  • Call and schedule team briefings and kick-off meetings to ensure team members are informed and updated with project requirements and plans.
  • Manage communication and coordination of technical issues with external project teams.
  • Prepare periodic project reports and ensure quality control of design, process, and contract documents.
  • Manage due diligence and ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
  • Support clients in preparation of documents for application permits and manage project correspondences.
  • Mentor project team members on company standards and procedures.
  • Manage the preparation of contract documents and specifications for projects.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and professional license.
  • Minimum 6 years of working experience in managing multi-disciplinary projects, resources, and overseeing projects from inception to completion and closeout.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of building design, architectural systems, and applicable codes.
  • Intermediate skills in the use of applicable software, including ArchiCAD/Revit modeling and construction documentation.
  • Knowledge and experience in coordinating engineering design and other specialty services.
  • Ability to establish relationships with new clients and nurture relationships with existing clients.
  • Excellent work ethic with the ability to function efficiently without supervision.
