At TASQ Staffing Solutions, we're seeking a skilled Solar Energy Project Lead to join our team in Pampanga. This is a project-based position with a 2-year duration.

Job Summary

We're looking for a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in the construction industry or engineering companies, specifically in power, renewable energy, or infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in project management and a strong understanding of engineering, construction, project financing requirements, operations, and maintenance of solar power plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a specific Large Scale Solar (LSS) Farm Renewable project from late development to execution, ensuring all technical, contractual, financial, and regulatory aspects are reviewed and supported.
  • Establish systems and processes for monitoring and controlling Health Safety & Environment (HSE), quality, budget, and timeline progress of the construction.
  • Manage local project teams, Engineering, Procurement Construction Commissioning (EPCC) companies, Suppliers, Owner Engineers, and liaise with internal authorities until testing commissioning of the LSS power plant and achievement of guaranteed performances.
Requirements
  • Engineering Degree, preferably in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
  • Experience of over 10 years in the construction industry or engineering companies, involved for at least 5 years in power, renewable energy, or infrastructure projects with electrical works involved.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience as a project manager or construction manager in project management.
  • Prior experience in engineering, construction, project planning, and contracts management with interfacing with Philippine authorities (DOE, NGCP, ERC, LGUs, etc.).
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English and liaise with internal stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of engineering, construction, project financing requirements, operations, and maintenance of solar power plants.
  • Capable of structuring and driving complex projects in pluricultural contexts with engineering, construction components, and a strong understanding of power project critical path and milestones.
