Main Responsibilities:
  • Triage claims documents upon receipt
  • Pre-adjudicate claims to verify document completeness
  • Enter data into the claims masterfile tracker accurately
  • Generate transmittals and scan documents as required
  • Provide timely acknowledgement to members and forward claims to assigned processors

Further Responsibilities:
  • Process incoming claims documents via email
  • Verify correspondence between existing and current claims submissions
  • Create new file folders when necessary
  • Apply relevant encoding protocols for adjudication purposes
  • Maintain up-to-date records in the Document Management Masterfile
