Finance Technology Strategist

A seasoned finance and technology professional is sought to provide strategic insights and guidance to CFO clients worldwide. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience helping finance leaders build and execute effective finance technology strategies, leveraging cloud-based ERP systems to drive business growth.

The successful analyst will possess a deep understanding of the challenges faced by finance teams during cloud ERP transformation, including strategy development, readiness assessment, deployment, and post-go-live phases. They will also be well-versed in the AI capabilities of major vendors and have a keen eye for innovative ideas that can enhance finance functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in finance technology, advising CFO clients on topics such as ERP transformation, AI in ERP, and finance technology strategy development.
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced analysts to create authoritative research and advice that addresses the unique needs of CFOs, focusing on the impact of technology on finance functions and vendor selection.
  • Deliver high-quality advice through face-to-face and video-based presentations, ensuring clients receive actionable insights that support their strategic goals.
  • Stay ahead of the curve in cloud ERP business case building, vendor evaluation, embedded AI capabilities, program governance, implementation, go-live readiness, and post-go-live management.
Requirements
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in finance department roles or consulting roles supporting large cloud ERP projects, designed to transform finance and accounting processes.
  • Strong working knowledge of the latest trends, innovations, and vendor capabilities in finance technology and cloud ERP software markets, including AI capabilities.
  • Experience working closely with CFOs and senior finance leaders to build buy-in for finance technology projects, delivering roadmaps on time and on budget.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, CPA or equivalent certification preferred. Master's degree preferred.
  • Ability to conduct occasional travel, regionally and globally.
