We're seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our team at OwnBank. As a key member of our HR department, you'll play a vital role in maintaining a positive and productive work environment. Your responsibilities will include investigating employee complaints, providing guidance and support to employees and managers, and ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws. Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
  1. Investigating employee complaints and workplace conflicts, and recommending solutions that align with organizational goals and values.
  2. Collaborating with management and HR partners to develop and implement solutions to workplace concerns.
  3. Providing coaching and counseling to managers and employees on performance management, disciplinary actions, and workplace conduct.
  4. Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation of investigations and employee relations activities.
  5. Supporting the development of Training Programs and Implementation.
  6. Partnering with legal counsel as needed to mitigate legal risks.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in employee relations, HR generalist, or related HR roles.
  • Knowledgeable in basic Labor standards (DOLE).
  • Excellent conflict resolution, mediation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
