Interior Designer

The successful candidate will possess a high level of proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues throughout their shift.

To excel in this role, applicants should submit their resume and an audio recording in English, highlighting their skills and experience in interior design.

This position requires collaboration with lead designers to develop and execute high-end residential interior design projects, involving:

  • Design concept development and execution for luxury residential projects;
  • Presentation creation using Adobe Photoshop, PowerPoint, and Google Suite;
  • Drafting layouts, elevations, and detailed drawings using AutoCAD;
  • Conducting virtual design consultations and communicating design ideas to clients in both English and Mandarin;
  • Sourcing furnishings, finishes, and materials in line with U.S. standards (using Imperial units);
  • Translating design concepts into actionable visual and written materials;
  • Tracking and documenting project progress, revisions, and design notes;
  • Attending internal meetings and maintaining organized design files and schedules.

The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, and possess 3–5+ years of experience in interior design, preferably with luxury or high-end residential projects.

Required skills include proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, PowerPoint, and Google Sheets/Docs, as well as familiarity with Imperial and Metric systems and U.S. design/building standards.

In addition, the successful candidate should be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects independently, with a strong aesthetic sensibility and ability to communicate design intent clearly across languages.

Nice-to-have qualifications include experience with California design styles and residential market trends, prior experience in client-facing design roles or guiding clients through proposals, a passion for luxury, craftsmanship, and refined interiors, and preferably experience in luxury or high-end residential furnishing projects.
