We seek an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. As a critical member, you will be responsible for day-to-day accounting functions, focusing on accounts receivable duties. Your key responsibilities will include assisting in preparing financial statements and information for tax accountants, as well as various other tasks. To excel in this role, you must possess exceptional business judgment, confidence, and flexibility in your approach. Additionally, you will need to demonstrate strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with multiple business units to acquire operational knowledge and execute departmental initiatives.

Accounting Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, manual check application, aging reports, and account reconciliation.
  • Process routine journal entries and bank transactions.
  • Enter AR payments and credit card transactions if needed.
  • Oversee month-end closing and reconciliation processes.
  • Analyze, correct, and adjust accounting information.
  • Perform bank reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with department peers to achieve shared goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accrual basis accounting, including accounts receivable, journal entries, month-end closing, and reconciliation, and bank reconciliation.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
