Job Description

We are seeking a skilled software engineer to join our team and help us build a modern, AI-enabled web platform. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for building, debugging, and polishing features across the existing front end and back end.

You will also be implementing and refining dashboards, stabilizing and resolving API hooks and third-party integrations, and improving UI/UX responsiveness and reliability. Additionally, you will integrate computer vision for photo analysis and NLP for inspector remarks to run compliance checks and generate actionable suggestions.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, debug, and polish features across the existing front end and back end.
  • Implement and refine dashboards: inspector, client/homebuyer portal, contractor dashboard, and lead-generation dashboard.
  • Stabilize and resolve API hooks and third-party integrations; improve UI/UX responsiveness and reliability.
  • Integrate computer vision for photo analysis and NLP for inspector remarks to run compliance checks and generate actionable suggestions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years building production web applications with React (front end) and Node.js (back end).
  • Hands-on integration of AI/ML into applications (computer vision and NLP), including model serving and evaluation.
  • Strong experience with RESTful APIs/webhooks and third-party service integrations.
  • Practical DevOps and QA skills: Git/GitHub, CI/CD, automated testing, and release management.

About You:

  • Technical: React, Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST/GraphQL APIs, databases (Postgres/MongoDB), cloud deployment, containers, CI/CD, automated testing.
  • AI/ML: Experience building explainable pipelines, evaluating model performance, and reducing hallucinations/false results.
  • Product & Process: Strong debugging instincts, clean architecture mindset, and the ability to turn ambiguous requirements into shippable, maintainable solutions.
