As a seasoned software engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our platform by crafting high-quality software products and refining existing systems.

Your proactive approach to problem-solving, outcome-oriented mindset, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams are key components of this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Technical Specifications: Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications by working closely with product owners and stakeholders, ensuring seamless integration and software component delivery.
  • New Feature Development: Actively participate in designing, developing, and implementing new features/software products while enhancing/maintaining existing ones.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform QA testing on your work and that of others to ensure the reliability of our products.
  • Code Review: Review pull requests, ask clarifying questions, provide constructive guidance, and maintain a healthy codebase.
  • Project Delivery: Ensure the timely delivery of software projects while upholding established quality standards.
  • Technical Knowledge: Continuously enhance your technical knowledge and share insights with the team.
  • System Diagnostics: Assist in diagnosing system issues and implementing effective resolution strategies.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively identify, solve, and preempt problems related to software development and project delivery.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in software development, encompassing frontend, backend, and DevOps, with proficiency in Java frameworks, especially Spring and Spring Boot.
  • Proficiency in frontend development tools and frameworks, including Vanilla JS and React.
  • Competency in Object-Oriented Design, functional programming, and scripting.
  • Familiarity with modern software architectures (e.g., microservices) and deployment tools (e.g., CI/CD, Docker).
  • Experience with unit testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL database systems.
  • Possesses robust problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Willingness to work on legacy code, particularly the Struts Framework.
  • Updated with the technology landscape, including current and future trends.
  • Proven track record in various software development projects.
  • Proficiency in system-level design and web services.
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks, spanning unit and integration testing.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Adaptability to ever-changing conditions and priorities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
