What you'll do:

  • Designs, develops, maintains, deploys and provides support for applications that deliver business outcomes.
  • Takes technical responsibility for all stages in the software development process. Provides advice, guidance and assistance to colleagues as required.
  • Performs code reviews and contributes to improving team processes.
  • Creates automated test cases and performs manual testing of software when needed.
  • Designs, implements and maintains deployment pipelines, allowing rapid deployment to various environments.
  • Contributes to identifying areas of software process improvement within the organisation.
  • Gather data and evidence to inform technical decisions.
  • Investigates incidents, suggests fixes and contributes to future mitigations.
  • Identifies and analyses hazards and contributes to risk reduction measures.
  • Presents complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure software solutions enable business strategy.
Requirements
  • Technical skills, understands software development systems and processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in agile software development approach.
  • 7 years' experience in related fields.
  • Advanced understanding of Typescript/Javascript.
  • Passionate about writing clean code.
