Sysgen RPO is hiring a Senior Data Engineer for a multinational company in the Maritime industry.

This is a direct hire with the client/company, offering a full-time/Permanent role. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing and maintaining data pipelines that extract, transform, and load data from diverse data sources into centralized repositories.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in database management activities, including database design, administration, optimization, and performance enhancement. They will also have at least 6 years of hands-on progressive experience in Data Engineering, along with at least 3 years of delivering solutions on the Microsoft Azure Platform.

Proficiency in PySpark or Python, T-SQL scripting, and strong technical knowledge of databases are essential skills for this position. The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and communicate complex ideas effectively is also crucial.

Please note the following requirements for this role:

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or an equivalent field
  • Minimum 6 years of hands-on progressive experience in Data Engineering
  • At least 6 years of experience in ETL, ELT, data warehousing, and data modeling
  • At least 3 years of delivering solutions on the Microsoft Azure Platform
