Job Title: Document Quality Expert

The role of a Document Quality Expert is vital in maintaining the highest standards of document accuracy and consistency. This position requires an individual with exceptional editing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
  • Edit documents in accordance with client specifications, templates, style guides, and other guidance documents, taking into consideration business goals, project deliverables, timelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform quality control reviews, including verification of document accuracy against source material, internal consistency, grammar, and formatting.
  • Expertly perform formatting techniques consistent with industry guidelines, including template utilization, style application, table insertion, figure creation, and overall document appearance and functionality.
  • Publish documents to regulatory health standards and remain up-to-date with submission-ready document requirements and structure.
  • Demonstrate effective leadership for all document quality-related tasks and services, including leading document quality-related projects, coordinating with project teams, managing timelines, communicating client feedback, and providing strategic insight.
  • Mentor junior staff to become proficient in quality control review, formatting, and/or publishing tasks.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, scientific discipline, or related field with a strong interest in regulatory writing.
  • Editor certification in the Life Sciences highly desirable, but not required.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • At least 2 years of prior experience in a similar role; highly skilled, talented, and motivated candidates will be considered.
