We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable and Receivable professional to join our finance team.
Job SummaryThis role involves managing both accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of financial transactions while maintaining strong relationships with vendors and clients.
- Accounts Payable Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices and employee reimbursements accurately and promptly.
- Ensure proper authorization and compliance with company policies before payment.
- Schedule and prepare payments via electronic funds transfer or check.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain organized records of payments and vendor files.
- Assist in month-end closing by preparing AP-related reports.
- Accounts Receivable Responsibilities:
- Generate and send customer invoices in accordance with contract terms.
- Monitor accounts for overdue balances and follow up on outstanding receivables.
- Apply customer payments accurately in the accounting system.
- Work with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing issues.
- Reconcile AR ledger and support month-end reporting processes.
- Payroll Responsibilities:
- Review and approve payroll runs.
- Review payroll reports for exceptions prior to processing.
Key Qualifications:
An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred. 2–3 years of experience in an AP/AR or general accounting role, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software are required.
