Financial Reporting Specialist

The role of a Senior GL Accountant entails overseeing month-end close, reconciliation, and reporting processes. This includes reviewing and preparing monthly close packages for foreign subsidiaries, as well as entering journal entries and performing reconciliations for designated balance sheet accounts.

Daily tasks involve reviewing bank activities, preparing journal entries for bank reconciliations, and assisting with quarterly reviews and year-end audit procedures. Additionally, the position requires collaborating with other departments to determine accruals and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and quality continuously.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and prepare monthly close packages for foreign subsidiaries
  • Enter journal entries and perform reconciliations for designated balance sheet accounts
  • Review daily bank activities and prepare journal entries for bank reconciliations
  • Assist with quarterly reviews and year-end audit procedures
  • Collaborate with other departments to determine accruals
  • Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and quality
