Business Analyst Job Description

Gather and analyze business requirements for successful project delivery as a Business Analyst at our organization.

  • Elicit and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements to ensure clear understanding and implementation of business objectives.
  • Create and maintain process flows, business models, and system documentation to support informed decision making.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends and insights that drive business growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and implementation of business requirements.
  • Conduct gap analyses to identify discrepancies in business processes and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Develop user stories and acceptance criteria for Agile projects to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Assist in developing test plans and participate in user acceptance testing to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Prepare and maintain project-related documents to support informed decision making and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a similar role, including internships or entry-level positions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A basic understanding of data analysis tools like Excel or SQL.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Trello.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
