Job Description

As a General Ledger Accountant, you'll be at the forefront of helping businesses transform their cloud, data, AI, cybersecurity, and analytics to ensure they're future-ready. You'll hold a position responsible for managing monthly/quarterly/annual accounting close, P&L reviews, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, assisting in preparation and review of tax and statutory accounts, monthly sales report review and adjustments, US GAAP and IFRS knowledge and reporting, internal and external audits, and cash flow management.

You'll take on additional work as may be required and serve as a backup for other finance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage month-end responsibilities and various other month-end/quarter-end activities to ensure timely and accurate closure of month-end/quarter-end in accordance with various US GAAP/SOX requirements.
  • Be responsible for all aspects of accounting for APAC entities, including but not limited to accuracy of P&L, balance sheet preparation and review, journal postings, assisting in preparation and filing of statutory accounts, tax returns, GST returns, and other regulatory obligations, dealing with external lawyers for local filings, and collaborating with external accountants and tax agents.
  • Review and process T&E accruals, monthly intercompany reconciliations, audit vendor bank account changes, and post various monthly journals for APAC entities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We're looking for a General Ledger Accountant Lead with:
  • CPA/CA equivalent qualification is preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in general ledger accounting in an SAP environment.
  • SAP experience is required.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal/written).
