QA Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team in Davao City. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the high quality of our web and mobile applications.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive test plans for each release and implement them effectively.
  • Conduct functional, regression, exploratory, smoke, and UI/UX testing to identify issues.
  • Validate release candidates and approve production deployments after thorough testing.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using internal tools to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Beyond automated test scripts, contribute to the maintenance of testing environments and data.
  • Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects to optimize the testing process.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in manual and automated QA for web and/or mobile apps is required.
  • Proven ownership of release testing cycles in high-frequency development environments is a must.
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, TestRail, Playwright, BrowserStack, and Postman is essential.
  • The ability to work across time zones, with partial overlap with Sydney business hours, is a requirement.
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) and proactive documentation habits are necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with accessibility testing (WCAG) would be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with the Australian tech/startup ecosystem or NDIS-related products could be beneficial.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows could enhance your prospects.
  • Prior work in remote cross-functional teams could provide valuable experience.
