Join our team at Nityo Infotech Services Philippines Inc. as an Assistant Audit Manager, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of our internal audit processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement Audit Plans: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement annual audit plans that align with our company's strategic objectives.
- Conduct Risk Assessments: Perform thorough risk assessments to identify areas of high risk and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Manage Audit Reviews: Lead audit reviews to assess controls, operational efficiencies, and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Develop Audit Programs: Develop and review audit programs to determine risks, weaknesses in processes, and existence/absence of controls.
- Validate Audit Findings: Validate and confirm reported key control points and weaknesses in the system or function being audited.
- Issue Recommendations: Provide recommendations to enhance operational effectivity and efficiency.
- Obtain and Analyze Evidence: Obtain, analyze, and appraise evidence and/or data to serve as bases for an informed objective opinion.
- Review Audit Work: Review audit work and findings in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards (i.e., IIA).
- Lead Audit Conferences: Lead initial and exit audit conferences with auditees composed of Department Heads and/or Managers.
- Monitor Recommendations: Monitor and/or follow-up recommendations and auditee's action steps to ensure implementation of promised corrective action/s.
- Develop Internal Audit Policies: Create, review, and/or update Internal Audit Policies and Procedures to ensure that these are written clearly, comprehensively, with sufficient internal controls, and in compliance with IIA standards.
- Manage Manpower Resources: Review manpower resources and develop reasonable budget for the Auditors.
- Administer Regular Meetings: Administer regular meeting with the Auditors to ensure timely feedback among the members of the team.
- Participate in Staff Selection: Participate in interviewing and selecting staff to fill-in audit vacancies.
- Train and Evaluate Staff: Train, orient, and evaluate staff and recommend developmental programs to improve the services of the department.
- Approve Itinerary and Expense Reports: Approve Itinerary and Expense reports and approve RGAS Notifications (e.g., leaves, overtime, undertime, etc.) and/or work hours.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in internal auditing, risk assessment, and process improvement. You should also have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
