Blockchain Engineer Position:

This role involves helping develop and maintain blockchain networks and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish secure infrastructure to monitor, detect, and mitigate performance and security issues in the blockchain environment.
  • Perform system administration activities for Linux servers, including routine and proactive daily management of system health, stability, and availability within a blockchain context.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for all systems operated, focusing on blockchain-specific procedural guides.
  • Stay up-to-date with peer-to-peer networking security best practices applicable to blockchain technology.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate threat models and risk assessments specific to blockchain systems.
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience as a DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure engineer, preferably in a blockchain-related environment.
  • Ability to program in languages like Python, GoLang, Bash, or Javascript, with expertise in blockchain development tools.
  • Experience managing server infrastructures with high availability requirements in a blockchain setting.
  • Designed secure networks, systems, and application architectures tailored for blockchain solutions.
  • Set up and maintained software in both data centers and cloud environments, particularly those supporting blockchain workloads.
  • Deep understanding of blockchain-specific network stacks, sockets, and Linux security features.
  • Knowledge of building automation and CI/CD processes tailored for blockchain deployments and tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experienced with containerization, orchestration, and other cloud deployment technologies.
  • Flexibility, teamwork, and ability to take charge and get things done despite unknowns in a fast-paced blockchain environment.
Nice to Have:
  • Understanding of the broader crypto space and its underlying technologies.
  • Possess knowledge of cryptography principles relevant to blockchain security.
  • Contributions to open-source blockchain communities.
