Job Title: Technical Specialist

The Technical Specialist plays a pivotal role in evaluating, assessing, and continuously improving wastewater treatment operations across the nation. This position ensures environmental compliance, promotes operational efficiency, and drives standardization of treatment processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides expert advice on technical issues related to wastewater operations
  • Supports capital expenditure project planning and implementation
  • Leads the development and delivery of training programs
  • Maintains knowledge of regulatory requirements and ensures facilities align with current environmental laws and discharge standards
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent
  • Licensed Engineer (REnvE, RChE, RSanE)
  • Completed 40-hour Pollution Control Officer Training recognized by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources
  • At least 5 years of experience managing wastewater systems and environmental compliance in a manufacturing, agricultural, or agro-industrial setting
  • Familiarity with regulations (DAO 2016-08, RA 9275, RA 6969) and relevant local government ordinances
