Job Description

The role of a Loan Officer involves the approval and processing of loans within specified limits. Additionally, loan applications exceeding those limits are referred to management for further approval.

Obtaining information for loan applications and answering questions about the process is also an essential part of this role.

Explaining different types of loans and credit options available to customers, as well as the terms of those services, is another key responsibility.

Compiling copies of loan applicants' credit histories, corporate financial statements, and other financial information is required.

Reviewing and updating credit and loan files ensures that all necessary documentation is accurate and complete.

Reviewing loan agreements to ensure they meet policy requirements and accuracy standards is also crucial.

Responsibilities include reviewing documents, conducting ID verification, and ensuring compliance with RKYC review policies and quality standards.

Staying up-to-date on new types of loans and financial services enables better customer service and meeting their evolving needs.

Answering borrower inquiries via phone calls, chats, emails, or other communication tools is a vital aspect of this role.

Performing additional tasks assigned by the immediate manager or Department Head as needed supports business requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Confidence in receiving inbound and making outbound calls, as well as responding to emails.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to focus on specific information and identify issues or errors.
  • Ability to work efficiently in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
  • Flexibility to adapt to shifting schedules.
  • Reliable wired/wireless internet connection with minimum 10MBPS speed.
