Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled IV Therapist to join our team at THE SKIN LAUNDRY CORP. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to our patients.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing comprehensive nursing care, with a focus on infusion services. You will work closely with our medical team to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities:

- Administer medications and products via IV to patients as prescribed by their physician.
- Monitor patients for any reactions and ensure that the IV stays in place.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Assist physicians in carrying out pre and post-operative care for patients undergoing procedures such as laser treatments, chemical peels, or surgeries.
- Perform diagnostic testing such as taking blood samples, administering anesthesia, and administering other medications.
- Provide education to patients about aftercare requirements and help them identify resources for medical supplies or equipment.
- Collaborate with our medical team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for our patients.

Requirements:

- Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting, preferably in a dermatology or skincare environment.
- Strong knowledge of infusion services and ability to administer medications via IV.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
