Job Description: Compliance Manager for Governance and Privacy

As a Data Protection Officer, you will play a critical role in supporting this commitment by ensuring that our company remains compliant with relevant data privacy laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base on data privacy, protection, and compliance;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to foster a culture of compliance and privacy by design within the organization;
  • Design and deliver training programs on compliance-related policies and processes;
  • Identify and address data protection concerns and issues in a timely manner;
  • Conduct research and analysis on data privacy and related topics to inform policy development;
  • Assist in developing and reviewing policies and procedures related to data privacy;
  • Produce high-quality knowledge products and educational materials on data privacy;
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and developments in data privacy;
  • Manage documentation and records in accordance with established procedures;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of personal, commercial, and technical data inventories;
  • Ensure compliance with group-wide data privacy policies and procedures;
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to facilitate the implementation of compliance initiatives;
  • Work collaboratively with the Country Compliance Manager to develop and implement internal compliance processes;
  • Contribute to the performance of compliance risk assessments and monitoring activities;
  • Prioritize local compliance requirements and allocate resources accordingly;
  • Coordinateregulatory interactions and ensure timely responses to requests;
  • Share best practices with fellow compliance officers;
  • Support GRC projects as needed.
