Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished and skilled Senior Test Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in implementing automation solutions to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing processes, methodologies, and tools, and will be able to design and develop automated tests using Avaloq's Test Framework, Java, TestMaster, Cypress, and other relevant tools.

The selected individual will also collaborate closely with test managers, developers, release managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality automation solutions that meet customer needs and requirements.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5+ years of work experience in software development or test automation engineering.
  • Firm understanding of testing processes and methodologies.
  • Experience with general-purpose programming languages such as Java, JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of programming languages like PL/SQL, Avaloq Script.
  • Quality-conscious attitude, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English.

Preferred Skills
  • Proven experience in manual or automated testing.
  • Knowledge in Oracle database architecture.
  • Experience with Orbium's TestMaster and/or Avaloq Banking System.
  • Automation tools like Cypress, Appium, Jest.
  • Performance testing tool (Gatlin, LoadRunner, JMeter).
  • Angular, NgRx, RxJs operators, TypeScript.
  • JavaEE, Spring Boot.
  • Banking know-how.
  • ISTQB certification.
