Senior Accountant Role Overview

We are currently looking for a seasoned Senior Accountant who will be an integral part of our accounting team. As a key member, you will report directly to the Global Controller and take ownership of accounting responsibilities at various portfolio companies.

This role requires someone who thrives in building processes from scratch and is not afraid to delve into the details. You should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift frequently.

  • Manage the month-end close process for multiple companies, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Record and reconcile bank transactions, maintaining accurate records and files.
  • Prepare general ledger entries, contributing to the development of new accounting systems and procedures.
  • Assist with monthly intercompany consolidations, providing support for annual audit preparations.

As a Senior Accountant, you will have the opportunity to work independently and as part of a team, exercising excellent analytical and organizational skills. Strong relationship-building abilities and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential for success in this role.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is required.
  • Master's degree and/or CPA certification are preferred.
  • A minimum of 6 years' experience in accounting, including US company experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with close attention to detail.
