Information Security Strategy Lead

This pivotal role involves driving operational strategies within a world-class Information Security Centre of Expertise.

  • You will play a crucial part in ensuring the ongoing delivery of exceptional client service across all business segments, while taking responsibility for the operational efficiency and effectiveness of a high-performing team.
  • As the Information Security Strategy Lead, you will be instrumental in shaping the operational landscape of a global security function. Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, manage complex stakeholder relationships, and oversee critical transition projects that enhance service delivery.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience managing large-scale operations within fast-evolving environments. Proven success in overseeing multi-disciplinary teams responsible for delivering high-quality services across diverse business areas is essential.

  • A degree-level qualification in business, IT or a security-related subject is required to provide foundational knowledge relevant to this role.
  • At least seven years' experience in operations management roles is essential, including five years leading large service delivery teams within complex organisations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills are needed to build strong relationships at all levels of the organisation while influencing positive outcomes through collaboration.
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving abilities are required for evaluating complex situations and making informed recommendations under pressure.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are necessary for articulating ideas clearly across different audiences both internally and externally.

As an Information Security Strategy Lead, you will have the opportunity to work closely with stakeholders to develop and implement talent management strategies that attract, retain, and nurture top information security professionals.

  • Drive initiatives within the management team that contribute to long-term operational excellence by implementing effective processes and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships across multiple regions to ensure alignment with organisational goals and deliver exceptional client service at all times.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee process enhancement projects by conducting GAP analysis, developing future-state processes, and identifying training needs to support team capability building.
  • Maintain robust governance structures and ensure compliance with internal control frameworks to meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Establish and continuously review performance measurement structures that drive accountability and support ongoing improvement initiatives.
