We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to join our client's team in Makati City. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the procurement function and developing strategies to improve the efficiency of the procurement process.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of supply chain logistics and environmental solutions, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and execute purchasing strategies to ensure efficient procurement processes.
  • Prepare and implement vendor accreditation processes and conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Streamline the procurement process to deliver requirements at the best possible time, quality, and price.
  • Develop and maintain processes for monitoring all Purchasing activities and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with the General Affairs Department to schedule logistics properly and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Resolve vendor or subcontractor grievances and claims against suppliers in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and award bids according to approved specifications.

Necessary Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, inventory/material control, and warehouse management.
  • Knowledge of logistics processes and familiarity with the waste-water treatment process is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with high level of interpersonal skills.
