Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, maintaining, and evolving architectures and automation for zero-downtime deployments.

You will work with Docker and Kubernetes to scale and monitor microservices, design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, and use tools like Helm and GitLab CI to automate deployments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, maintain, and evolve architectures and automation for zero-downtime deployments.
  • Work with Docker and Kubernetes to scale and monitor microservices.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Use tools like Helm and GitLab CI to automate deployments.
  • Work with our development teams to help them set up automation pipelines and solve problems.
  • Handle complex and distributed enterprise systems based on HCL 9.1 installed in cloud Kubernetes clusters.
  • Ensure seamless integration and operation of these systems within the cloud environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
  • Must have 3 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm charts, Docker, and YAML configurations.
  • Proven experience in CI/CD pipeline development and management using Jenkins.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud services and network configuration.
  • Proficiency in relational database management (Oracle, Postgres, MySQL).
  • Experience with Unix systems, shell scripting, and make files.
  • Familiarity with handling complex and distributed systems in cloud environments.
  • Experience with APM tools such as New Relic and Dynatrace.
  • Knowledge of logging aggregators like ELK or Splunk.
  • Ability to monitor and test performance across the application stack.
  • Basic knowledge of Akamai CDN, including Kona and Image Manager.
  • Experience with performance monitoring tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with HCL 9.1 and its integration within cloud Kubernetes clusters is a plus.
  • Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., Kubernetes (CKA), Docker, Jenkins, or Oracle Database) are a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Working Environment

This is a hybrid position that requires 3 days of onsite work per week.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices and technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
