Accounting Integration Lead M&A

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Integration Lead to join our team. This role will be responsible for coordinating the integration of accounting functions across various M&A transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with deal teams, diligence teams, and accounting teams to design and execute post-acquisition onboarding plans for finance and accounting operations.
  • Work with diligence teams to assess talent, develop post-acquisition resource plans, and ensure pro forma historic financials are updated and loaded in our reporting system.
  • Coordinate with Controller teams on ASC 805 valuation of acquisitions and opening balance sheets.
  • Identify strategic changes to the onboarding process and advocate for continuous process improvements.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with public accounting and controller experience a plus.
  • CPA preferred.
  • Significant knowledge of GAAP.
  • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Experience with a range of financial tech stack applications strongly preferred.
  • Team-oriented and excited to grow and scale a business over the next 5-10 years.
  • High learning agility and eagerness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Unquestionable integrity.
