Healthcare Coding Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Healthcare Coding Specialist to join our team.

As a key member of our coding team, you will be responsible for translating medical records into standardized codes used by insurance companies and healthcare systems. Your attention to detail and knowledge of medical terminology and guidelines will ensure accurate billing and provider payments.

  • Translate doctor's notes and medical records into coded data
  • Maintain accuracy in coding to ensure correct billing and provider payments
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical terminology and coding guidelines

To be successful in this role, you must have active AHIMA or AAPC Medical Coding Certification (CPC-A, CPC, CIC, CCS, COC) and experience in coding from paper charts and EMRs. Additionally, you should have a strong understanding of ICD-9 or ICD-10 coding in relation to HCC/Risk Adjustment Coding.
